This is a tiramisu double-layered cake.  I made it for my dear friend, Melissa, who affectionately calls me "Tara-mi-su".  She loves silver, glitter, purple and tiramisu.  So I tied all that together in one shimmering birthday cake.  Happy "29th" birthday, Friend!  

Train Cake

This is my father in law's birthday cake.  It's classic carrot cake with cream cheese butter cream frosting all covered in fondant.  And it's decorated in with a simple train theme because he LOVES trains.  His whole basement is taken up by his N-scale train set.  Happy 62nd birthday, Steve!

Disney Pixar UP cake

This was a super-fun project.  Here we have a chocolate/strawberry/vanilla marbled cake with vanilla butter cream frosting and a fondant covering.  The theme came from Disney and Pixar's "UP".  Characters and icons from the movie were printed out and attached to the cake board just for fun.  Then I made vanilla sugar cookies into a balloon cookie bouquet to match.
