This was such a fun cake! I made it for my daughter's best friend for her 5th birthday. She really loves Hello Kitty and her favorite colors are red and yellow, so that was my inspiration for the cake's theme and colors. She also made a special request for a strawberry, banana, chocolate cake ... in the end we settled for a strawberry layer on top and red velvet layer on the bottom with a sweet butter cream frosting. Happy 5th Birthday, Ava!
